HARISH NAMBOODIRI

HARISH NAMBOODIRI

Twenty-five is an extremely important and special milestone, and this blog celebrates its twenty-fifth post by dedicating it to Harish Namboodiri, also known as Hari, who is one of my closest friends.

I will refer to him as Hari in the subsequent paragraphs of this post.

My friendship with him dates back to the sixth grade at Indian School Muscat, Oman in the academic year 1993/94. We were classmates in the sixth, seventh and eighth grades in the years 1993/94, 1994/95 and 1995/96 respectively.

Though we lost touch after the eighth grade, we are now back in touch after a gap of eleven years, thanks to Orkut.

A native of the city of Thiruvalla in the southern Indian state of Kerala, Hari is a pious young man and is deeply passionate about everything he does.

He now works as a fire safety design engineer in the Jebel Ali Free Zone in the United Arab Emirates. Reading is one of Hari's favourite pastimes.

He is an eternal optimist, no matter what the odds are. He is always smiling.

Here's wishing Hari all the very best of luck, success and happiness in all his future endeavours and hoping we keep in touch.
