MANAS BHATIA

MANAS BHATIA

My friendship with Manas Bhatia, to whom the twenty-eighth post on my blog is dedicated, dates back to the sixth, seventh and eighth grades at Indian School Muscat, Oman in the academic years 1993/94, 1994/95 and 1995/96 respectively.

However, I knew him for a few years before we became classmates, as we lived in the same locality in Oman (Al-Khuwair) and took the same bus to school when we were in primary school.

Manas is an extremely cool and fun-loving person with an excellent sense of humour. He was the leader of my patrol when we attended scouts camps in the seventh and eighth grades. He is always game for a hearty laugh, and I believe his positive attitude is his best quality.

Extremely social, Manas is now based in the city of Toronto in the Canadian province of Ontario. He is originally from India's capital city, New Delhi.

Apart from the Muscat connection, both Manas and I have a Pune and Mumbai connection. He and I pursued our graduation in Pune and then worked in Mumbai.

Born on the twentieth day of the month of July, this typical Cancerian possesses all the traits of the zodiac sign represented by the crab. He is emotional, loving, imaginative, intuitive, shrewd, cautious, sympathetic and protective.

An avid traveller, his family and close friends constitute his world.

Here's wishing Manas all the very best of luck, happiness and success in all his future endeavours and hoping we keep in touch.
